City to Surf 2006

Ger did the City to Surf fun run (12 km) on Sunday and we had a big barbecue breakfast by the finish line at City Beach afterwards. It was a glorious Spring day and IBM supplied the booze. There were 10-12 bottles of Champagne by my reckoning and although Ger did not agree at all with having to drink at 9:30 AM she bravely struggled through it! I was skipper for the morning.


Anna and John had a great time playing with the other kids. John is starting to get to an easier age now.
 


I shot the breeze with Ger's workmates Paul the Scouser and Dave the itinerant Tasmanian.

Merit Award and Pyjama Party

Anna got another merit award at assembly on Friday, this time for her reading. She had all the pals around this afternoon for a pyjama party (though none of them actually stayed over). From left: Madeleine, Isabella, Niamh, Anna and Claudia.

John was looking really cute today in his little shirt from Kathleen (our neighbour in Lucan). And sure we had to take a photo of Anna too ;-) 
 
 

Toothless Anna

Not the most flattering photo or her I'll grant you...but we purposely got her to grin like that to show that she's lost her first baby tooth! The tooth fairy leaves $2 in these parts apparently!
